Line Dancing: Monday, February 13th, and 27th, 1:00 pm. Line Dancing is making a huge come back. It’s lots of fun too! Learn how to line dance. No need to sit out line dancing anymore. Coleen Krempel has choreographed a sequence of steps for a group. If you can walk, you can Line Dance. 6 weeks for $30.
Bible Study: Monday, February 13th at 1:00 Reverend Laura Westby from The New Fairfield Congregational Church will be here to conduct a Bible Study about Sarah. Please feel free to join.
Singing Valentines: Tuesday, February 14th at 1:00 The Mad Hatters, a capella chorus singing group, will be here to deliver a “Singing Valentine”. Their focus is on impressive singing and spreading the joy of harmony.
Cookbook Information Meeting: Wednesday, February 15th at 2:00 pm Come share your favorite recipe. RVNA and WCSU are partnering to create a “Then and Now” cookbook, comprised of favorite recipes from local senior center participants. Hear about the “Then and Now” cookbook project in detail. This is a great chance to share your favorite recipe(s) and be a part of a multi-senior center project while learning some amazing new nutritional facts. All recipes that are in the final cookbook will be entered in a drawing and the winning recipe will be the featured meal at a luncheon, hosted at RVNA for all cookbook participants and contributors FREE of charge. All participants will receive a FREE copy of the final cookbook as a thank you for participating. Sign up today to come to this informational meeting.
Shopping Trip to Target: Wednesday, February 15 at 11:00 Calling all Sweethart bus riders or folks who would like to come on this trip. We will start the day at Panificio Navona in Bethel for a delicious lunch. Then at 1:00 the bus will pick us up and take us to Target at 7 Stony Hill Road in Bethel. We will return to the Senior Center at 3:00. $15 will cover your lunch and bus ride.
M Technique: Thursday, February 16 at 1:00 Experience the deep relaxation of the “M” Technique. Susan Carbone of Cohesive Healing has been trained in this simple choreographed method of touch.
